# Axel Tuanzebe drops transfer hint on social media

Eagled-eyed Aston Villa supporters believe that Axel Tuanzebe has dropped a transfer hint that suggests he’ll be returning to the club next season.

The Manchester United defender commented on an Instagram post from Jack Grealish, saying: “Lead us in the Premier League, skip.”

Fans were quick to point out Tuanzebe’s use of the word ‘us’ in the post, something many believe to be a clear sign he is due to return to Villa Park.

Tuanzebe impressed during his loan spell at the club last season and played a key part in the successful promotion push, with Villa now preparing for life back in the Premier League.

The defence is a key area that Villa must address and Tuanzebe has emerged as a potential target that could be re-signed.

It had previously been [suggested](https://readastonvilla.com/2019/05/10/blow-for-villa-as-a-permanent-move-for-tuanzebe-is-ruled-out/) that he will be given a spot in the Manchester United first-team squad, but these latest comments have cast doubts over his future.
