# Hause agrees personal terms with Aston Villa

Kortney Hause has agreed personal terms with Aston Villa over a permanent deal to join the club this summer.

[According to Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-pl-player-agrees-30k-a-week-aston-villa-terms-as-deal-all-but-done/), Villa have decided to trigger the option in his loan deal to make it permanent and have now decided on a contract for the defender.

The report claims that Hause has accepted a contract offer which will see him earn £30k-per-week as part of a “long-term” deal. Villa are said to be paying a fee in the region of £3m for Hause.

Hause joined Aston Villa on loan from Wolves in the January transfer window and made 12 appearances in the second-half of the campaign.

The young defender came on for the final 10 minutes in the play-off final win against Derby County at Wembley, following an injury to Tyrone Mings.

He lost his place towards the end of the season to Mings and Axel Tuanzebe – who were both on loan at Villa from Bournemouth and Manchester United respectively.
