According to Telegraph reporter John Percy, local rivals Aston Villa will be stealing academy manager Mark Harrison from the hands of West Brom.
The Englishman has been in charge of the Baggies academy for 13 years, where he has helped produce talents such as Izzy Brown, Saido Berahino and Tyler Roberts.
Harrison even helped out caretaker manager Jimmy Shan with the senior team last season briefly.
The Englishman will take a similar role at Bodymoor Heath so the Villa faithful will hope to see improvements from their academy in the upcoming years.
This will be the second time in two years that Villa have taken staff from the Albion after securing the services of goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler from the Baggies as well.
West Brom have already started their search for Harrison’s replacement with their current head of academy coaching Ryan Maye leading the race, according to the Express and Star.
