Aston Villa’s business in the summer window looks to be done, with reports suggesting that their move for Brentford’s Said Benrahma is off.
Villa had been quoted over £25 million for the winger, but any deal now looks unlikely, according to Gregg Evans of the Athletic.
Twitter: Still no breakthrough for #avfc with Benrahma. Unlikely to happen now. Could be a quiet day. Nothing imminent, nothing likely. (@greggevans40)
Aston Villa fans have been taking to Twitter to voice their opinions, with Dean Smith likely to have ended his business until January.

Haydn is shocked that Villa are no longer after anyone after reports suggested that the club were still in for some signings on the final day of the window.
Twitter: @greggevans40 and certainly needed another striker too! Extremely light up top! (@AVFC_trinity)
Sam believes that Villa could’ve done with another winger and a striker before the window shut.
Twitter: @greggevans40 As well as we’ve done in the window so far. Winger and striker options are weak. (@1_0_1_0_1_0_I)
Danny Evans also believes Villa are weak up front, with only three strikers in the first team.

READ Aston Villa’s Verdict
Many will be disappointed that Villa won’t be bringing in anyone on deadline day, but there is still reasons to be cheerful.
Villa have basically had to rebuild their entire squad before the season started, so have done well to bring in the players that they have.

The situation upfront is still concerning though, especially if Villa lose one of their strikers to injury.
They could have also done with another striker, but Dean Smith will have to work with what he’s got unless Villa make a late move for anyone.
