Several Villa fans have reacted to the news on social media, with many supporters expressing concern over the move.

@issassin isn’t that bothered with the sale of Kodjia, but is concerned if Villa aren’t looking for a replacement.

Sean is very angry of a potential sale, and ranks it up there with the business done by Bruce over a year ago.

VillaWiki believes there won’t enough depth if they let the striker go.

### Read Aston Villa’s Verdict

This story continues to pick up pace, and it looks like Kodjia could be cutting his Villa career short.

It brings up a lot of questions, and Villa could really do with another striker if Kodjia leaves.

They are setting themselves up for a striker crisis if Wesley goes down, with Keinan Davis still very unproven.

However, if Villa could get a good fee from Besiktas, it could turn out to be a great deal financially.
