Villa fans react to great opening day stat for Tyrone Mings
Tyrone Mings made his Villa loan deal a permanent one over the summer, after becoming a quick fan favourite at Villa Park.
His return to Villa started with the defeat to Spurs at the weekend, but the former Bournemouth man made a great impact.

@ffsallyy doesn’t care that Mings was cast out at Bournemouth, because he’s so vital for Villa.
Twitter: @HLTCO Absolute man mountain. Don’t care if he was 4/5th choice at Bournemouth, he’s 1st choice for Villa (@ffsallyy)
Nathan also thinks that the fee was 100% worth paying.

A Spurs fan, Pat, thinks that Mings is surely a shoe-in for the next England squad.

Mings certainly had a great game against Spurs, and was vital in their defensive efforts.
However, Villa do really need to take the load off of him against Bournemouth.
They need to make sure they’re not parking the bus too often, leading to the defence getting tired and collapsing like they did against Spurs.
However, Mings might be in for an England call up based on his performances, and this is not too outrageous of a claim.
