# Villa fans react to supporters wild valuation of three star players

Aston Villa have certainly spent big this summer, bringing in over a reported £120 million worth of players.

Big name signings such as Tyrone Mings and Wesley have brought in a lot of new talent to the Villa ranks.

However, one fan has taken to Twitter, to air his views that Villa’s squad is now worth over £380 million.

Several fans reacted to the news on Twitter.

@Bank5ter, a Wolves fan, wants Wesley to price up the Wolves squad so they could compare the values…

> Twitter: @WesleyBoyle5 Well this means our Jota(the proper one) is worth 150 mill and Bolly 200 mil. Any chance you could p… https://t.co/kBLnnIeX8V (@Bank5ter)

Michael thinks that it’s a stretch to value them so high.

> Twitter: @WesleyBoyle5 Wow! I’m a villa fan and by no stretch are any of those players worth what you claim. If a big 6 club… https://t.co/AXK914LlJg (@mikec1986)

@dazbeanie thinks Villa should sell them all if they were worth that much.

> Twitter: @WesleyBoyle5 Id sell them all if they were worth that ? (@dazbeanie)

@ElkVip jokes that the valuation of Birmingham is a bit of a stretch itself.

It’s fair to say that these valuations are a bit far off!

You’d struggle to find someone willing splash £50 million-plus on Jack Grealish currently, and with Tyrone Mings only going for £25 million this summer, it would again be hard to see him worth any more.

McGinn has been touted with moves away from big money, but the £50 million price tag was put on him by Villa, not elsewhere.

How much players are worth to Villa is a lot different to their actual worth.
