Since signing last January for a considerable fee, Kalinic has failed to impress at Villa, and is now very much a backup at the club.

Several Villa fans reacted to the reports that he could be on his way out of the club.

Nick wants the Croatian out of the club as fast as possible.

@avfc_hub want the Italian sides to take Kalinic away from Villa Park.

@AVFCmemes think he could do really well for himself if he was to leave Villa.

Selling Kalinic for any money could be a good deal, especially as he looks to have no future at Villa.

His opportunities are almost nil with Tom Heaton in goal for Villa at the minute.

Kalinic had a horrible start to his career in England and didn’t really recover at all.

Therefore, moving to Italy could be the best move for both parties.
