# Could Declan Rice want Villa move? These fans think so after picture emerges on Twitter

Declan Rice recently revealed that he could have moved to Aston Villa last season, and these fans are speculating if it could happen in the future after a picture emerged on Twitter.

Rice had a great game as West Ham played out a 0-0 draw with Aston Villa at Villa Park, and was pictured having a chat with some of the Villa squad after the final whistle.

The picture obviously brought about more speculation, with several Villa fans on Twitter thinking that Rice is desperate for a move to Villa Park.

> Twitter: @OliverAVFC\_\_ I thought it was quite surreal watching him clapping us at the end of the game…I had no idea why he… https://t.co/MQBYT0MqQO (@terrytini99)

However, several West Ham fans were quick to downplay the links to Aston Villa.

> Twitter: @OliverAVFC\_\_ Don’t think he fancies championship football next season though ? So he won’t be going villa ?⚒ (@MATTtheMANX)

### Read ASton VIlla’s Verdict

It’s hugely unlikely that Villa will sign Rice now, especially after the midfielder signed a bumper new deal at the club.

However, it is interesting to see that he clearly wanted to join the club on loan last season.

He obviously has a good relationship with some of the Villa team, so it would have been interesting to see what he could’ve done in a Villa shirt.

A big “what if” for Villa fans.
