# Villa fans react as club linked to Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos

Aston Villa are supposedly looking into signing a striker this January, and [the Scotsman](https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/rangers/aston-villa-plotting-rangers-raid-in-january-have-20-million-to-spend-on-key-man-1-5015559) are reporting that Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos could be a target.

Morelos has been in top form since joining Rangers, but has racked up many red cards and incidents since moving to the club.

Villa are reportedly ready to test Rangers resolve and bid £20 million for the striker.

Therefore, many Villa fans have taken to Twitter to voice their opinions about whether or not Villa should make a move for him.

Greg, along with several Villa fans, reckon they should look elsewhere.

However, one Rangers fan believes that Villa fans are wrong to doubt the Scottish leagues.

Morelos is certainly a player who you have to think would be a massive risk for Villa.

His aggressive nature could be a risk, especially with his history of getting red cards.

However, if he scores goals, who would care?
