Earlier this week, Tom Heaton was forced to pull out of the England squad through injury, with Dean Henderson selected as his replacement.
Since Heaton signed for Villa from Burnley in the summer, he has performed very well, proving to be the Premier League quality goalkeeper that the supporters had been calling out for.
It has been suggested that this is just a precautionary decision. These Villa fans on social media are hoping that’s the case, with plenty hoping they’re not without their number one for too long.

Despite many joking about Jed Steer, he had a stellar year in the Championship last season, proving to be key in the fight for promotion.
Steer and Lovre Kalinic shared appearances last season in the Championship, with the former playing 16 times, keeping six clean sheets and conceding 12.
On the other hand, Kalinic only played six times, keeping one clean sheet and conceding the same amount as Steer but in fewer games.
Steer looks the most likely to come into the side if Heaton is unable to recover in time for the clash against Brighton.
