# Villa target Bowen to be offered new Hull City deal – will he stay?

Reported Aston Villa target Jarrod Bowen is reportedly set to be handed a new deal at Hull City, as the Tigers attempt to fend off January interest in the midfielder.

The [Hull Daily Mail](https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jarrod-bowen-contract-hull-city-3473055) report that Vice-chairman Ehab Allam has tabled a new contract offer to Bowen, offering him a three-year contract at the club.

Bowen had previously been linked with a move to Aston Villa, previously quashing links with Dean Smith’s side back in May, according to [HITC](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/05/05/hull-city-winger-jarrod-bowen-squashes-those-aston-villa-rumours/).

The Hull man netted twice at the weekend in a 2-0 win for the Tigers against Derby County.

Bowen has been superb for Hull, but do Villa need another attacking midfielder?

Dean Smith certainly has a lot of options in the area where Bowen plays, but, if they can get a good price, would he still be worth it?

It certainly could still happen, but a new deal would make this a distant possibility.
