Pundit Ian Wright hands down praise on Villa’s Nakamba and Trezeguet

Former Arsenal striker and pundit Ian Wright has handed down lots of praise on Villa pairing Marvelous Nakamba and Trezeguet after the clash with Liverpool.

Despite leading throughout most of the game, Villa conceded two late goals to lose to the league leaders.

However, Ian Wright was full of praise for two Villa stars in the defeat, and also said that he thinks that Dean Smith’s side will survive easily in this division.

Wright said on Match of the Day:

Villa were brilliant today, like the manager said, they were very disappointed because it was a lack of concentration.

When you look at someone like Nakamba, very impressive Nakamba today…Trezeguet his best game for Villa for me today, and then you’ve got Mings and Engels at the back.

I think Villa are gonna be fine, they were really good.

Despite the defeat, Villa put in a superb performance against the European champions.

The Reds were lucky to get a result against Villa, with Nakamba and Trezeguet both being superb.

If they keep playing like this, they should be fine.
