Steer to miss at least two months with calf injury
Aston Villa goalkeeper Jed Steer has been ruled out for at least two months with a calf injury, as reported on Sky Sports.
The shot-stopper picked up the problem during the 2-1 defeat to rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old stepped in to replace Tom Heaton but was forced to leave the pitch after just eight minutes after scrambling towards his own goalline to reach a looping ball.
Orjan Nyland replaced him and put in a decent display. Worrying times for Villa?

The injuries will definitely be a cause for concern for manager Dean Smith, who will be cursing his side’s luck.
Villa are currently sitting in 17th place in the table, just three points away from the relegation zone.
Smith will be hoping that Heaton’s issue isn’t too serious and the international break has come at a pretty good time for them to regroup.
