### READ ASTON VILLA VERDICT

Ramsey has made a fantastic start to his loan spell, [scoring twice on his debut](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51284926) to help Doncaster to a 3-0 away victory over Tranmere Rovers.

We feel that this loan move could be great for Ramsey because it will provide him with some much needed first-team football. He has featured for Villa’s first-team twice this season but they were [mere cameo appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.com/jacob-ramsey/leistungsdaten/spieler/503749) in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Therefore, playing competitive football on a weekly basis could prove to be a great experience for the midfielder and help to increase his confidence, especially if he keeps getting involved in important goals.
