Some Aston Villa fans have reacted to a [report](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfers-milot-rashica-19258818) which claimed that Werder Bremen are looking to sell [Milot Rashica](https://readastonvilla.com/2020/09/17/aston-villa-must-pay-18m-to-get-milot-rashica/) in the January transfer window.

After securing the club’s top-flight status last season, manager Dean Smith sought to improve his attacking options, having just [Keinan Davis, Mbwana Samatta and Wesley](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/24/Show/England-Aston-Villa) at the club.

By bringing in Ollie Watkins from Brentford, Smith has enhanced his frontline, with [the striker netting an impressive six goals in his opening seven games.](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ollie-watkins/profil/spieler/324358)

One player Smith didn’t manage to bring in was, Rashica with the Kosovo winger [heavily linked over the summer](https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/aston-villa/2020/08/14/aston-villa-hope-to-wrap-up-milot-rashica-deal/), but it now seems that similar rumours could return.

[Birmingham Mail](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfers-milot-rashica-19258818) cited reports from Germany which claim the [£19.8m-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/milot-rashica/profil/spieler/291739) attacker will be made available in January for transfer.
