# Jack Grealish trends after impressing in England’s win over Germany

Jack Grealish has been trending on Twitter a lot this summer as there’s a lot of uncertainty about his future at Aston Villa and because of his performances for England at the 2020 European Championships.

The 25-year-old trended days ago when Manchester City were closing in on a £100m move and he was [trending](https://twitter.com/search?q=grealish&src=typed_query) on Tuesday evening after helping England to victory over Germany in the last-16.

Grealish was introduced from the bench in the 68th minute when England were goalless with Germany, and he went on to have a hand in both goals. Grealish laid the ball on for Luke Shaw to cross the Raheem Sterling for the opening goal and he whipped in a cross that Harry Kane headed home for the second.

The 25-year-old was hailed by UEFA’s official European Championship account on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/EURO2020/status/1409935927460438019?s=20) for his performance and [posted](https://twitter.com/JackGrealish/status/1409947347954585604?s=20) photos on social media to express his delight in the result. Fans were calling for Grealish to come on from the get-go against Germany and their wish was eventually granted.

Whether he starts against Ukraine in the quarter-final remains to be seen, however.
