# Douglas Luiz is all smiles as he shows off trophies and painting on Instagram

Douglas Luiz should be in good spirits after playing a full 90 minutes in Aston Villa’s 1-0 win over Manchester United, so it’s no surprise that the 23-year-old posted about it on social media.

Luiz shared pictures on his [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/CUX-djqDalg/) of his trophies, ornaments and paintings on a lavish shelf, showing off his own Incredible Hulk shirt, shorts, trainers and watch, which was well-received by his followers. The Brazilian international has made [five Premier League appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/douglas-luiz/leistungsdaten/spieler/447661) this season, notching two assists. He’s been a regular in midfield when fit and continues to impress when called upon.

Luiz has had a hand in a goal in Villa’s last two games and was given a player rating of 9/10 by [Birmingham Live](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/aston-villa-player-ratings-manchester-21676519) for his performance against United. The 23-year-old has even been [linked with a move to AS Roma](https://readastonvilla.com/2021/09/28/fans-on-social-media-arent-entertaining-as-romas-interest-in-douglas-luiz/) due to his form in England, so his stock couldn’t be higher right now.

Next up for Luiz and Villa is a trip to North London to face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, October 3. He’ll hope to be all smiles after the game.
