# Aston Villa 2026/27 third kit spotted before official launch

**A fresh Aston Villa third kit leak has provided the clearest look yet at the club’s reported adidas design for the 2026/27 season.**

The shirt was reportedly spotted on sale early inside an adidas store in Tenerife. Previous images appeared to show a digital representation, but the latest sighting displays what is believed to be the finished retail version.

Aston Villa and adidas have not officially unveiled the kit. Supporters should therefore continue to treat the design and release details as unconfirmed.

## Aston Villa third kit leak reveals Villa Park tribute

The images published by [Footy Headlines](https://www.footyheadlines.com/2025/11/villa-26-27-third-kit.html) show an icy blue shirt with claret detailing around the collar, sleeve cuffs and adidas branding.

Both the manufacturer logo and Villa crest sit centrally on the shirt. The crest contains a yellow lion inside its claret and blue shield.

The most distinctive feature is the tonal pattern covering the shirt. Small dots create a series of swirling shapes reportedly inspired by the brickwork and ornate gates surrounding Villa Park.

It gives the design a clear connection to the club rather than relying solely on a standard adidas template.

ReadAstonVilla previously covered the [initial Aston Villa away and third kit details](https://readastonvilla.com/2026/06/16/aston-villa-2026-27-away-third-kit-leak-adidas/), when reports first pointed towards a light blue strip with centrally positioned logos.

The latest photographs appear to support those earlier claims. They also provide a better view of the pattern, colour combination and crest.

Sky blue and claret last featured prominently together on Villa’s 2022/23 Castore away shirt. Adidas have now reportedly revived that traditional combination with a more detailed design.

An official release is expected soon, although neither Villa nor adidas have announced a date. Minor retail details could still differ before the club confirms the final shirt.
