Aston Villa travel to Hull City on Saturday looking for their first Premier League points of the season, with the clash selected for live television coverage in the UK.

Unai Emery’s side face the newly-promoted Tigers at the MKM Stadium on Saturday 5 September, with kick-off scheduled for 5.30pm BST. Sky Sports have confirmed the fixture as part of their live Premier League schedule.

Hull City vs Aston Villa will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage beginning before the 5.30pm kick-off. Sky also lists the match among its confirmed September Premier League broadcasts.

Sky Sports subscribers can also watch through the Sky Sports app, while NOW provides a contract-free streaming option for Sky’s Premier League coverage.

Villa will definitely be without Amadou Onana, who remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury, and João Gomes, who is serving his suspension following his red card against Brighton.

Johan Manzambi and Brian Madjo are also currently expected to miss the Hull game, while Leon Goretzka could come into contention. Emery said after the Arsenal defeat that the former Bayern Munich midfielder needed more training but could potentially make Saturday’s squad.
