Jack Grealish according to Roy Hodgson is on the radar after England have been in “regular contact” with Jack, his family and his representatives knowing his ability to play for either Ireland or England – however avoided calling him up due to him rejecting a call up from Ireland earlier in the month, with Roy Hodgson saying the decision would be “inflammatory”.
The Villa youngster has impressed under Tim Sherwood and been given a pivotal role in the Aston Villa midfield and has duly delivered, looking like the man to help Villa’s lack of creativity in midfield and develop into one of the future stars following the likes of Gabby Agbonlahor and Gary Cahill out of the Villa Academy.
Grealish can play for England, through him being born in Birmingham or Ireland through his Grandparents, but it yet to make a decision on who to represent on a senior level.
