You can’t fault him for not being ambitious, Gary Gardner – Villa academy graduate speaking to avfc.co.uk has come out to say “It’s every footballer’s dream to stay at one club”.
Gardner went on to say “My hero Steven Gerrard did it at Liverpool and id love to do it with my team Aston Villa”
Despite the 22 year old having a tough career through injury, he still has big ambitions to fit into the first team and become a regular in the midfield for Villa saying it would be great to stay here for the rest of his playing days.
The Villa academy graduate had a positive season on loan and Brighton and Nottingham Forrest and was unlucky to miss out on the England u21’s squad.
He’ll be hoping to impress Tim Sherwood during pre season and put himself in with a good chance of football this season at Villa Park.
