Villa’s first permanent signing of the summer, Scott Sinclair has come out in support for Tim Sherwood since he took over from Paul Lambert.
The Villa winger expressed his fondness in the former Spurs manager, stating “The key with the gaffer is that he knows exactly what he wants from his players”.
Sinclair joined Villa on loan in January when the club looked destined for the drop with Paul Lambert at the helm. However, Tim Sherwood’s arrival seemed to spark a real upturn in Villa’s fortunes.
“The first thing I noticed was that he upped the intensity of training. He Definitely lifted things.” Sinclair told avfc.co.uk
“He’s very precise with instructions – there’s no grey areas – he tells you what he expects and if you do that, he’s happy”
Sinclair is set to add a different dimension to Villa next season, being a player who can naturally supply width and with a good pre-season behind him the former City player is hoping for better opportunities for first team football.
