Aston Villa academy graduate Andreas Weimann has joined Derby County £2.75m after falling out of form and favour at Aston Villa.
The striker has joined on a four year deal, and has joined Darren Bent at the Midlands club.
Weimann started his career off at Rapid Wien as a youth player before Villa took it upon themselves to prize him away from Austria.
He got his chance to prove himself under Alex McLeish, scoring a memorable goal against Stoke City at home, curling it past Begovic.
Paul Lambert rewarded good form with a new 3 year deal, but after the beginning of the season – fans become critical of his style and lack of end product.
The Austrian has appeared for Villa a total of 126 times in all competitions and also appeared for his country 13 times.
