Turkish-football.com ‘s Emre Sarigul is reporting that Aston Villa have made a €5m offer for Swedish international, Alexander Milosevic from Turkish side, Beşiktaş in order to strengthen their defence.
The former Serbia U17 player was involved in Sweden’s 2015 European Under-21 Championship triumph and played a vital role in their back line, particularly in the semi – finals and the final against Denmark and Portugal respectively in which Sweden only conceded 1 goal, winning on penalties in the final.
Milosevic has also earned himself 4 caps for the Swedish senior squad.
Strength and Future
At 6’3” Milosevic is a brick wall at the back and doesn’t let forwards get past him easily, he’s not afraid to put his body on the line and he’s not willing to take any risks which would give Tim Sherwood’s side a lot more solidity in defence.
At only 23 years old, he is an exciting prospect that will be around for many years to come and it would be a fantastic capture if Villa take this bid any further.
