2 of the most important signings this season have finally joined up with Aston Villa after a short hop over from France this morning.
Former Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye got started to life by trying to make sure the WHOLE of the Villa team definitely knew he was at training with them, with this exuberant wave.
Then Gueye proceeded to attempt to levitate after hearing he has big boots to fill with the departure of Fabian Delph, he felt the need to impress – others promptly followed his lead.
Jokes aside – TVV is very happy to with the signing of Idrissa Gueye, Great to be able attract such quality young talent to the club.
Jordan Amavi also managed to get across to Europe to be unveiled as a player and have his first training session with the Villa side.
According to WhoScored.com, only Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a better average rating in Ligue 1 last season – no pressure, Jordan.
The two signings look like a real statement of intent from Tox Fox and Tim Sherwood which is needed with the sales of Fabian Delph and Christian Benteke which is expected to be announced this week.
Everyone at TVV can’t wait for these two to hit the ground running, oh and we especially like how Sherwood has casually just spent around £18m on real quality – a good change.
