Callum Robinson has joined Bristol City on a season long loan from Aston Villa today.
The Villa academy graduate, who was on loan at Preston North End for the majority of last season, sees himself secure another high profile loan move in his second season.
Robinson is looking to improve on last season after appearing 25 times in League 1, having an opportunity to prove himself in the Championship – with Bristol City winning promotion last season.
The 20 year old scored 7 goals in 28 appearances for Preston last season – and will be looking to be more clinical in the League with a full season away from Villa Park – being able to fully focus on his game and Bristol City’s season in the Championship
Robinson teams back up with former Villa Academy player Derrick Williams who left in 2013 seeking a first team opportunity.
The departure of Callum Robinson will fuel speculation of another striker waiting in the wings to join Aston Villa before the transfer window closes.
