New signing, Adama Traore has described himself as being ‘fast’ and ‘explosive’ and that he is ready he is ready to ‘excite’ the Villa faithful in an interview with the club’s official website.
The 19-year old joined Tim Sherwood’s revolution last week from Barcelona and has laid down his claim to represent Villa to the best of his ability, stating that it is “a pleasure to defend the shirt.”
Traore also mentioned his old club Barcelona and it’s poster boy – Lionel Messi describing how the club has given him perfect foundations to grow at Villa “What I have learnt from my time at Barcelona is the invisible work that goes on off the pitch. It’s about the finer details.” before adding “It’s about working hard, resting when you need to, leading a healthy life, having a support structure around you”
Traore too understands the importance of bedding into the squad quickly – expressing his desire to learn English as quickly as possible so it will help him adapt, even if Carles Gil is helping out the young winger.
“It’s a great help to have lads here who can speak Spanish, like him [Carles Gil], Jose Crespo and Carlos Sanchez.”
All in all, it seems that Adama Traore is looking forward to bed into his new home at B6 during the next few weeks, and it seems even more excited to get playing and show the Villa faithful what he has in his locker.
