This Sunday, Villa travel to the east midlands to take on Leicester as both sides look to kick off their September fixtures.
But first we will start with Villa and the team news for Tim Sherwood’s men. Idrissa Gana is a doubt for the game against Leicester after picking up an injury on international duty with Senegal, whilst Jack Grealish and Adama Traore are in a race against time in order to be fit as they battle to recover hamstring and ankle injuries in order to be fit. Gabby Agbonlahor is also expected to be availble after recovering from a bout of sickness at the end of August.

New signings Tiago Ilori and Joleon Lescott are also in cotention to play with Lescott battling Clark to play in the left sided centre back role. Scott Sinclair is expected to continue upfront after grabbing two goals against Sunderland last time out. Carlos Gil is also in contention to play after impressing during his subsitute appearance against Sunderland in our last league game.
Now moving onto the team news for this weeks hosts Leicester and Claudio Ranieri has a very good start to life as Leicester boss with two wins and two draws whilst being allowed to add to his squad with a number of additions.

One of those, Nathan Dyer who arrived from Swansea on loan on deadline day is in contention to start this one as is former Villa winger and Villa fan Marc Albrighton who has so far impressed under Ranieri and will be keen to continue doing so against his former club. In form striker Jamie Vardy will be leading the Leicester front line after having an amazing start to the season which resulted in a call up to the England international squad for the latest round of internationals, in which he started against San Marino.
