Tim Sherwood has revealed today that Idrissa Gueye will be fit for tomorrow’s game against Stoke City, according to avfc.co.uk.
The Midfielder has had struggles with his hamstring in recent games and has even gone to France to see a specialist, but is now fully fit after treatment.
Adama Traore has been named as a doubt for tomorrow’s game. The 19-year-old appeared in an U21’s game against West Brom in the week, Sherwood claimed that he was “limping one minute, fine the next”.Tim Sherwood confirmed that he doesn’t want to risk Adama Traore if he isn’t fit.
However, Agbonlahor is expected to make the cut for the final 11 against stoke after a slight calf injury.
Fortunately from a Villa perspective, summer signing Xherdan Shaqiri is a fitness doubt after a thigh strain against Bournemouth – however Mame Diouf and Ibrahim Afellay are in line to start against Aston Villa.
