Joe Cole has come out with praise for Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish after an impressive few months at the club, while speaking to BBC Sport.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is said to be the future of Aston Villa and impressed during the back-end of last season and performed superbly against Liverpool in the FA Cup Semi Final.
Cole said “He has gone beyond potential and is an important cog in the wheel at Villa.” before adding, “It is important that the club build the team around him. I think they have the perfect gaffer for him.”

Grealish has recently opted to play for England after an illustrious few years in the Ireland youth set up and was offered to train with England by Roy Hodgson, but Sherwood declined, stating Grealish’s need to gain match fitness after missing pre-season due to injury.
Villa haven’t won a game since the beginning of the season, here is to hoping a fit Grealish could change their fortunes.
