Matt Lynch took his 2-minute question and answer game to the Editor of Read Swansea City, Declan Terry ahead of the Swans trip to Villa Park. Will he finish in two minutes?
1. Poor start. Why? 30 seconds.
Apart from the opening month, Swansea now seem so lifeless and lacklustre. The players seem unmotivated and it’s a real shame to see, as the squad is as strong as it’s ever been. For some reason the players haven’t been performing nowhere near to the best of their abilities.
2. Best player in your squad? 15 seconds.
Hard question that. But I’m going to go for our captain, Ashley Williams. Williams is an absolute rock in defence and his leadership is second to none. Without Williams in our team, we would crumble.
3. Who do you hate in the Villa squad? 15 seconds.
I wouldn’t particularly say I hate any of Villa‘s squad, but following his Cardiff routes I’ll go for Rudy Gestede. I must admit though, he’s been a bright spark for Villa so far this season.
4. What do you make of the Monk rumours? 15 seconds
I think it’s ridiculous. Yes, we’re going through a rough patch but at the end of the day Monk lead us to eighth place last season and is undoubtedly a talented manager. He’s the man to take us forward, no questions asked.
5. Unsung hero in your squad? 10 seconds.
Definitely Jack Cork. He’s a top-quality midfielder and he gives Swansea so much when he’s on the field. He should be an England international, in my opinion.
6. Where will the game be won and lost? 30 seconds
If Swansea turn up, we have the beating of Villa. However, we haven’t really turned up since August and despite Villa‘s bad form, they could overcome us if the players want to save Sherwood from the sack. Although, I do believe we have the potential get back on track at Villa Park on Saturday.
7. Prediction? 5 seconds.
I’ll go for a 1-1 draw.
