Rémi Garde will be appointed Aston Villa manager tomorrow with Réginald Ray joining him as his assistant. The Daily Mail and Canal+ are both respectively reporting the imminent appointment of Garde and Ray.
Garde Captured
The former-Arsenal player has been out of work since the end of the 2013/14 season due to family and personal reasons with the Daily Mail reporting that Garde will be announced as the Villans new manager in the morning. The Frenchman is due to be a spectator as Villa come up against Spurs at White Hart Lane tomorrow night.
Who Is Ray?
He appears to be taking his good friend and current Bastia assistant manager, Réginald Ray with him to be his number two which makes the appointment of Gerald Baticle & Bruno Genesio seem more and more unlikely. Ray has a reputation. He is known to be an aggressive character which could benefit the Villans. Although it didn’t really work out with Roy Keane.
