Aston Villa are taking a look at Anderlecht midfielder Samuel Bastien, according to reports. Liverpool are also considering a move for the Belgian.
It is believed that the Midlands side sent scouts to watch the 19-year-old, who is currently on loan in Italy with Serie B side Unione Sportiva Avellino 1912.
With Remi Garde looking to boost his options at the club, he may have identified Bastien as the perfect man for his midfield – a teenager who seemingly possesses bag of talent and potential.

Despite Villa’s interest, the player has only made one senior appearance for Anderlecht, coming almost a year ago in the Belgian Cup.
His current side, Unione Sportiva Avellino 1912, have an option to buy the player but both Villa and Liverpool are confident that they can prise him away and bring him to England to link up with Garde.
Aston Villa face Everton when the Premier League returns after the international break at Goodison Park, with Garde looking for his first win in charge of the club.
