Aly Cissokho is set to rejoin Aston Villa in January after Porto have agreed to terminate the French players loan, according to Sport Witness.
Cissokho was loaned out to Porto in the summer after Jordan Amavi was brought to the club from Nice, but now it is thought he will be brought back to the Midlands after Garde has had discussions with the player.

It is reported that Garde knows Cissokho well, being able to get the best out of the left back who had an indifferent start to his Villa career under Paul Lambert and Tim Sherwood.
Cissokho is set to slot right back into the first team after Jordan Amavi tore his cruciate ligament in his knee while on international duty this season, leaving Villa light on the left hand side.
Cissokho played 25 times for Aston Villa since joining the club in 2014 but has only played the once for Porto since joining on loan.
