Aston Villa have lodged an enquiry into the availability of Chelsea striker Loic Remy according to Get French Football News.
Villa have struggled to consistently score goals as of late after selling Christian Benteke to LIverpool for a large sum, with many suggesting we haven’t really replaced him.
It could be seen that our interest in the former QPR man would be our late attempt at replacing the Belgium while trying also to save our season, with Villa being bottom of the table on Christmas day.

Loic Remy came from the Lyon academy, during the time that current Villa manager was in charge of youth development at the club – leading to suggestions that the two know each other.
Remy at Chelsea has scored 8 goals in 28 appearances and arguably hasn’t had a big enough of a chance to prove himself at the club with Diego Costa being first choice.
