Steve Mandanda is reportedly keeping his options open amid speculation that Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has personally approached the French goalkeeper, according to Sports Witness.
It has been widely reported that Remi Garde is after a new keeper after a lack of competition and poor performances from current Number 1 and USA International Brad Guzan.
Mandanda, 30 and French understudy to Premier League keeper Hugo Lloris is out of contract in June 2016 and has yet to sign a contract extension with his current side Marseille.

But is has been reported that Mandanda isn’t sold by the idea of a move to the West Midlands.
This puts a dent into Remi Garde’s hopes to beat the drop, but the risk of Championship football next season for Mandanda is seemingly to big.
Steve Mandanda has played 23 times for the French National team since his first call up in 2008.
