Aston Villa forward Scott Sinclair is a January transfer target for Swansea City according to Mat Kendrick of Birmingham Mail. Sinclair has struggled to break into the first team under Remi Garde despite starting the season in fine form under Tim Sherwood and his future could lie elsewhere if reports are to be believed.
Sinclair only joined the Villans permanently in the summer for £2.5-million following a successful loan spell from Manchester City where he scored three goals in twelve games. However, it appears that his six goals in ten appearances this season won’t be enough to force his way into Remi Garde’s plans.
The winger played for Swansea between 2010 and 2013 and arguably produced the best form of his career in South Wales. He scored 36 goals in 91 games for the Swans and is held in high regard by Swansea fans for his time in Wales, helping them to promotion to the premier league with 19 goals in his first season.
