The English attacker has fallen out of favour at Villa Park since the arrival of Remi Garde in November. Sinclair only signed for The Villains eight months ago and has thus far struggled to make a real impact for the Birmingham-based side.
Once touted as one of England’s brightest young prospects, Sinclair has managed just 2 goals in 15 appearances for Aston Villa and has yet to make a full international appearance for England.
The Mirror are reporting that the fee is likely to be around the £2 million mark. Sinclair is yet to buy a house in the midlands area and is seemingly interested in re-joining the club which he left for Manchester City. Swansea, much like Villa, are also in a relegation battle and are hoping Sinclair could help to re-ignite their attack.
