Aston Villa academy graduate and all round battering ram in the Centre of defence is set to rejoin Aston Villa if the club is relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Bristol Post are reporting that any chance of converting his current loan deal into a permanent one is very slim due to Villa’s terrible season in the Premier League, which see’s them at the bottom of the table with no hope in sight for fans.
Nathan Baker, who had spells in the Aston Villa first team during his development at the club has been a vital to Bristol City this season, with many Bristol City fans on Twitter urging the English defender to leave B6 and sign for Bristol City permanently, but it seems that Aston Villa will not let the deal go ahead.

It seems that if Aston Villa are to be relegated, their defensive options will be worn thin by a large contingent of high earners looking to ply their trade elsewhere, opening a big opportunity to Nathan Baker.
Baker who is 24, has made 79 appearances in a Villa shirt during his career and this loan spell at Bristol City should bring great value to Villa if they’re to be relegated this season.
