Villa’s Colombian midfielder Carlos Sanchez is reportedly in talks with two Italian teams over a move to Serie A, according to Football Italia.
Sanchez, who is currently on international duty with Colombia at the Copa America Centenario in the United States, is reportedly speaking to Bologna and Fiorentina about a potential deal that would see the midfielder leave Villa Park after two seasons in the West Midlands.
Since signing for Villa from Spanish team Elche in 2014 for a fee of £3 million, Sanchez has gone on to play 57 times for the club, scoring his only goal so far for Villa against Manchester City in April 2014.
Sanchez has come under much criticism whilst at Villa, and many people would be glad to see the back of him. The Colombian missed the majority of last season due to a hamstring injury for before coming back into the fold for the last four games of the season.
