Jordan Amavi is set to reunite with his former Nice boss, Claude Puel, at Southampton, according to French publication Nice-Matin.
Amavi has been linked with multiple moves away from Villa Park since their relegation from the Premier League. Numerous sides have been touted as showing interest in the Frenchman who could offer him Premier League and even European football.

The left-back joined Villa last summer for a fee of £10 million. He has made 12 appearances for Villa and assisted three goals.
His season ended in October after he ruptured his cruciate ligament while on international duty with the French U21 side. As a result of this, Amavi didn’t have long enough to fully prove himself for Villa and couldn’t play a part in their battle against relegation, which they ultimately lost.
Southampton will be playing in the Europa League next season, under the management of Puel, who is expected to be announced officially in the coming days.
Only yesterday we pointed out how it looks like Jordan Amavi will remain at Villa Park.
