Ross McCormack could be on his way to Aston Villa, according to the Mirror.
It is reported that the 29-year-old, who is valued at £13 million by Fulham, is the subject of interest from Villa as well as Norwich and Newcastle United.
McCormack, who scored 23 goals across 49 games last season for Fulham, reportedly missed the West London club’s pre-season trip to Austria, with his future seemingly lying away from Craven Cottage.
Speculation of McCormack joining Roberto Di Matteo’s side follows a tweet from Villa chairman, Dr Tony Xia, in which he stated that Villa will be signing a striker before the transfer window closes at the beginning of September.
The former Rangers striker joined Fulham in July 2014 for £11 million after a productive season for Leeds United. In his two years at Fulham, he has scored 38 goals in 89 league appearances and 42 goals in 100 appearances overall.
