Aston Villa will complete the signing of Mile Jedinak from Crystal Palace in the next 24 hours, pending a medical which will take place today.

According to BBC reporter Pat Murphy, a £4m fee has been agreed between the two clubs and Jedinak will become Villa’s latest summer signing.
Recruiting Jedinak will be seen as a real coup for Roberto di Matteo this summer, convincing a Premier League-calibre midfielder to drop down a division is no small feat.

Villa are keen to add some steel to their midfield to help cope with a more combative Championship season, and the Australian international captain will be there to do just that.
Jedinak was replaced by Scott Dann as Crystal Palace’s club captain this summer which raised question marks over his long-term future at the club but it now appears he will leave in the coming days.
The club are also sorting out Jedinak’s visa right now and will complete the deal tomorrow if he passes today’s medical.
The 32-year-old midfielder joined Palace on a free transfer from Turkish side Genclerbirligi in 2011 and was immediately named the captain of the side.
Jedinak spent his first two seasons with Palace in the Championship and skippered the side to their 2012/13 promotion and would provide excellent experience and leadership for a young and developing Villa side.
