Aston Villa have expressed an interest in West Ham United striker Enner Valencia according to a report.
Simon Jones for the Mail Online reports that the Midlands side have expressed their interest in taking the Ecuadorian international to Villa Park.
Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo is in the market for a pacy striker as he looks to complete his side ahead of a push for promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking

Valencia moved to the Hammers in 2014 after a successful World Cup for Ecuador but he has struggled for consistent game time with injuries being a contributing factor.
It has been reported previously by the Mail that the London side would be looking for around £12 million for the forward.
Last season he scored four times in 19 appearances. West Ham currently have a bit of an injury crisis up top with Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew both out injured already.
