Jores Okore set for exit door before window shuts?

Aston Villa could allow Jores Okore to leave the club before the transfer window shuts next Wednesday.

The Birmingham Mail say that the Danish international could be subject to interest form across Europe with Spain, Germany, and Italy all paying an interest in the centre-half.

Okore has suffered majorly with injuries since moving to the Midlands side in 2013 from Nordsjælland.

The Dane has only made 38 appearances in a Villa shirt with ten of them coming last season in the club’s relegation doomed campaign.

He is yet to feature in a league game under boss Roberto Di Matteo this season with his own game time coming in a disastrous defeat to Luton Town in the League Cup where he scored a comical own goal.

The 24-year-old joined Villa with a burgeoning reputation and interest from Chelsea, but he has failed to live up to expectations and could be the next casualty under Roberto Di Matteo’s reign.
