Aston Villa have tabled an interest in the Anderlecht striker Stefano Okaka according to a report.
The Mail Online report that the Midlands side along with Norwich City have expressed an interest in the Italian international.
Okaka scored 15 in 37 appearances last season in the Belgium top flight after moving from Italian side Sampdoria the previous summer.
The 27 year old began his career with Roma and remained their until 2012 when he left for Parma, but subsequently left two years later after only playing 27 minutes of football.

He spent two seasons at Sampdoria after leaving Parma, but again failed to set the world alight with four and five goals in each of his two seasons with the Genoa based side.
The striker made the move to Belgium last summer where he has found his efforts far more fruitful with interest from Sunderland in the Premier League earlier this summer.
Now seemingly Aston Villa and Norwich City are both monitoring him. He has previously spent time in England whilst on loan from Roma to Fulham in the 2011/12 season.
