Hull City are rumoured to have made a £14 million bid for Bristol City striker Jonathon Kodjia.
The Telegraph report how the Premier League side are looking to make their move for the Robins striker. It also states how Villa are still keen on Abel Hernandez.
The move for Kodjia could be a good sign for Aston Villa with the Midlands side keen on taking striker Abel Hernandez to Villa Park before the window shuts on Wednesday.
Hernandez has been heavily linked to the Villans in recent weeks with Dr Tony Xia even tweeting about his pursuit of a number nine hopefully coming to its head on Sunday.
Tutto Mercato had reported early last week how Aston Villa had a deadline to make a move so now Hull are going for a striker is that a signal that Roberto Di Matteo may well have his man?
The Uruguayan international was top scorer with 19 goals last season for Hull under Steve Bruce as they returned back to England’s top flight at the first time of asking.
Only time will tell if that is the case but I am sure we can expect to hear something from Dr Tony Xia at some point on Sunday about our pursuit.
