Aston Villa’s pursuit of Hull City striker Abel Hernandez could be made easier with the player keen on a switch to the Midlands side.
The Mail Online report how he wants a move to happen but the Tigers want to move for a replacement before letting him leave the KCOM Stadium.
Hernandez has been a long-term target this summer for bosses at Villa Park and owner Dr Tony Xia confirmed the other day that a bid of £14 million plus £6 million in add-ons had been rejected.

The Uruguayan international has been Hull’s star man since a move from Serie A outfit Palermo in the 2014/15 January window.
He helped seal an immediate return back to the Premier League for Hull with 19 goals last season and could add the necessary firepower to allow the Villans return to the top flight at the first time of asking.
It is said that Hull will look to make a move for Bristol City striker Jonathon Kodjia to fill the void left by Hernandez’s potential departure.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa have seen Albert Adomah reject a move to Villa Park.
