Aston Villa winger Adama Traore is closing in on his exit from the Midlands side with a medical scheduled at Premier League side Middlesbrough.
Gazette Live say that the Villa midfielder will look to complete his move to Teeside before the window shuts on Wednesday night.
Adama moved to Aston Villa last summer from Barcelona for around £7 million but he failed to settle under Tim Sherwood and Remi Garde and was limited to ten appearances.
Injuries seemed to play havoc with his first season in English football and was often questioned for his selfishness on the ball.

He requested a transfer away from Villa Park a few weeks ago and now seemingly his nightmarish spell is over with Aitor Karanka set to pounce.
Barcelona supposedly have first refusal on any more for Traore but they will not take up the opportunity to take him back.
The 20 year old will perhaps be remembered most for his assist for Carles Gil’s goal against Sunderland and his cross turn goal vs Crystal Palace.
